Daryl Kramp is the Ontario PC candidate for Hastings-Lennox and Addington.
Daryl has dedicated much of his life to public service. He was Member of Parliament for Prince Edward-Hastings for over a decade, having previously served as a Councillor and Deputy-Reeve in Hastings County’s Town of Madoc.
Daryl was elected by fellow MPs as the Canadian President of the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption. GOPAC advises democracies on how to eliminate corruption and create public trust. This must again be a guiding principle in Ontario.
Daryl understands what makes a local economy tick, having created and operated successful business ventures in the retail, wholesale and hospitality sectors. He knows the importance of sports in rural communities. He’s been a player and coach in hockey, ball and other competitive sports at the local and provincial levels. And as a promoter, Daryl organized some of the largest international junior ice hockey tours in North America.
Daryl served as President of three local organizations, the Kinsmen, Canadian Cancer Society and Chamber of Commerce. Community policing and public safety are close to his heart, having served five years as an investigator with the Ontario Provincial Police.
As a parent, he understands the importance of ensuring government puts hardworking families first. The squeeze must end; people need to pay less and get more. Daryl is driven to delivering results, and has a passion for economic development. He will be a strong voice for change and will work hard to put the future prospects of Hastings-Lennox and Addington back on track.
